Peter Rabbit Art Trail

A huge thank you to the wonderful illustrator Jina Gelder, who worked with many of the fantastic people we support to create our amazing Peter Rabbit for St Oswald's Hospice's Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne Art Trail. Our rabbit is one of many colourful sculptures waiting to be discovered across Newcastle.

60 Northstandard Volunteers

Celebrating an incredible volunteer day as 60 NorthStandard colleagues from the Tech Team joined forces to transform our Community Allotment through teamwork, creativity and community spirit. Their energy, enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in made a lasting difference, helping us create a welcoming and inspiring space for everyone.

To celebrate Learning Disability Awareness Week, Mark wrote an article for Skills for Care sharing the inspiring stories of Julie, Glyn and Ashleigh, alongside his own journey from television to supporting neurodiverse creativity in Newcastle.

Winning the 2026 3rd Sector Care Award for Community Engagment

National Winners

Sally Lindsay presented the National 3rd Sector Care Award for Community Engagement to our Ngage Community Allotment, recognising its outstanding impact, inclusion and community spirit. We travelled to Birmingham with Glyn to collect the award, making the occasion even more special as Glyn is Sally's biggest fan.

NorthStandard Film Commisions

Following the success of the promotional film we created for NorthStandard celebrating their charity partners, we're now in discussions about a second paid commission—another exciting opportunity for Neuroversal Studios and our neurodiverse filmmaking team.

Best Community Allotment

We're delighted to have been named Newcastle's Best Community Allotment for the third year in a row. We'll be collecting our award at the Newcastle Allotment and Garden Festival in Exhibition Park on 4 September—a wonderful celebration of the hard work, dedication and community spirit of everyone involved.
